Your results will be available within 7-10 days. You’ll receive an email or text message notice when your results are available.

Login to your account at: bluegeneslab.com/login to review your report and use the drug interactions feature. To view a PDF copy of your report, select the menu bar located at the top right of the website, and select the “View PGx Report” option in the drop down.

If you need help understanding your results, please select “Request a Consult” and one of our experienced pharmD team members will be able to help. Please note that there is a $50.00 consultation fee.

Most rejects occur due to not having enough DNA (cheek cells) on the swab. Our machines do not detect saliva, they detect buccal cells that are obtained from your cheek. Other factors that can contribute to rejections are eating, drinking, using mouth wash, or chewing gum 30 minutes before your cheeks are swabbed.

Yes you can! Once you are a member, you can login to your portal and under the menu items select "Request a Consult". Depending on your insurance plan, there may a fee associated with this consult.

Yes, but only for the purpose of analyzing how your genetic makeup affects your response to medications. Your data is stored securely in accordance with strict compliance standards, including those required by the U.S. government (FISMA). We analyze only specific response genes and CYP enzymes, used to determine how well your body can process or benefit from certain medications. All DNA is securely destroyed within 60 days.

You can register each family member individually—especially if they’re 18 or older. For minors or dependents, log in to your portal and select “My Dependents” from the menu. If your insurance covers them, it will be reviewed and submitted. If not, additional costs may apply for each account.
